Peep is a course developed by the charity PEEPLE, designed to help parents and children learn and grow together. Toddler Peep is aimed at families with children aged approximately 1 - 3 years. At Home-Start South Warwickshire, our Peep-trained staff run small, supportive groups that focus on:

Building warm, responsive relationships through talking, listening, playing, singing and sharing stories

Supporting early learning in literacy, maths, communication and more

Encouraging learning at home through fun, repeatable activities
Each course is tailored to the families attending. Sessions cover the five key areas of early development: Early Literacy, Early Mathematics, Language & Communication, Personal, Social & Emotional Development, and Health & Physical Development.
We build activities around children’s own interests, making learning engaging and meaningful. For example, a love of dinosaurs can spark early maths (“the T-Rex is on top of the volcano”, “the stegosaurus has five spines”), while fairy tales can inspire role play, storytelling and creative play.
Our friendly, close-knit groups not only strengthen the parent–child bond but also help families connect with each other, offering much-needed peer support in a safe and welcoming space.
