At Home-Start South Warwickshire, families are at the heart of everything we do – but it’s our dedicated staff team who make it all possible. Together, they bring a mix of professional experience, personal insight, and practical know-how to support families with children under five.

Our wonderful team comes from many different backgrounds – teaching, midwifery, nursing, occupational therapy, fundraising – and each of us brings a unique perspective on family life. Between us, we’ve raised 25 children, and many of us combine that lived experience with years of professional expertise. It’s this mix of knowledge and personal insight that helps us offer the right support at just the right time.

Beyond their qualifications, our team brings creativity, patience, and real parenting experience. Some focus on coordinating volunteers, while others lead specific groups such as perinatal support or local toddler sessions. We also have people looking after finance, fundraising and communications, and keeping everything organised behind the scenes.

What unites us is a shared commitment to supporting families who need us most. Every day, we see the difference this approach makes – the relief of a parent who feels less alone, the confidence of a child trying something new, and the smiles of families knowing they have someone to turn to.
